How does it work?

To offer a lift:
- In the title of the post write origin, destination, date of travel and "lift offered" (for example "Lift offered: Darwin to Katherine 4/3/08)
- In the post itself write approximate time and place of departure and number of seats you can offer.
- Provide your first name and preferred contact details
- Indicate if you expect to split costs or not
- Check the comments for your post in order to make contact with interested people

To request a lift:
- In the title of the post write origin, destination, date of travel and "lift required" (for example "Lift required: Katherine to Alice Springs 17/1/08)
- In the post itself write the number of seats you require
- Provide your first name and preferred contact details
- Check the comments for your post in order to make contact with interested people

Feedback

Obviously we are unable to ensure the safety of people if they choose to travel with other people.

Therefore it would be great if you could comment on your travel experience honestly, so that others are armed with more information to choose who they travel with.

For example, maybe your lift was late, their car could only manage 80km per hour, and they chain smoked the whole journey... tell people! Oppositely, if you have a really positive experience let others know as well... we want to try to make this as safe and enjoyable as possible for people.

You can provide your feedback either in a separate post or by making a comment in the related offer/request post.
